Is there any disadvantage to cooking turkey wings w/ a rubbed spice in a crockpot?

Since it's now hot outside, I'm not really wanting to bake these. Anyone ever tried cooking this in a crockpot? How does it come?Is there any disadvantage to cooking turkey wings w/ a rubbed spice in a crockpot?
You will end up with soggy, limp turkey skin. One of the best parts of the wing is the crispy skin. If you are going to do the wings in the crock pot remove the skin first, season then cook.Is there any disadvantage to cooking turkey wings w/ a rubbed spice in a crockpot?
what makes them taste good to me is the fact that they're nice and crispy. you won't get that affect in a crock pot. maybe you'd be better off making turkey soup in the crockpot.
