How to clean off oil splashes from matt emulsion walls - preferably naturally?

We have a big shower of cooking oil splashes on our matt emulsioned rental kitchen wall (from attempting to shake a salad dressing bottle with a loose lid!)

The oil is just plain vegetable stuff, and the wall colour is a very pale magnolia. The stains have been there for about a month. Is there any way we can clean it off naturally, instead of having to paint over it? I'd prefer no chemicals, but if there's really no other option, I'd go for anything.

Thanks in advance :)How to clean off oil splashes from matt emulsion walls - preferably naturally?
You can try a degreaser or a Mr Clean Magic Eraser but to be honest matte paint is not terrible cleanable to begin with. I've had this in happen a rental and never did get it out. (word to all Landlords - use eggshell or satin sheen paints in kitchens and high-traffic areas)How to clean off oil splashes from matt emulsion walls - preferably naturally?
Try some citric degreaser that may do it or lemon juice something along those lines might do the trick.
